Salleri to Everest base camp trek begins with a flight to Lukla. Lukla airport is one of the world’s most dangerous airports. Obviously, if you are an adventure freak, you are going to enjoy this flight. From Lukla, we shall trek to Namche which is a famous town in the Everest Region.
Everest trekking via salleri is among the most preferred trekking trail in the world. During the trek, you can enjoy the views of majestic Everest. As we trek to the foothills of Everest, we will take a scenic walk across typical Sherpa villages. We can enjoy the splendid views of ranges like Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, Tawche, and Kwangde during the entire trek. Also, we can enjoy the spectacular glacier views in the Everest region. We will explore different bio-diversity in Sagarmatha National Park. During our stay in Kathmandu, we can visit different world heritage sites.

Day 01: Arrival
Our representative will receive you from the airport. Then, you shall be transferred to the hotel. After some rest, you can visit our office to complete the remaining formalities. We will also brief you about the program in detail. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 02: Kathmandu City Tour
Kathmandu is a world-famous tourist destination for its richness in cultural heritage. Early morning, we will visit Pashupatinath. Pashupatinath is a temple of Lord Shiva where pilgrimage from all over the world makes their wishes. Later, we will visit Boudhanath, which is another popular destination. It’s the biggest stupa in Nepal. We will also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which is home to Kumari, living Goddesses. During the evening, we will stroll around the street of Thamel. Day 03: Drive to Phaplu or Ringmo and trek to Takshindo (3071m) 8 hours’ drive – 45 -min trek
Early in the morning, we commence driving from Kathmandu to Phaplu in a local Jeep. It’s the long drive of about 8 hours. But thankfully, the road is good as it has been recently constructed. During the journey, we can witness the panorama of Riverside, the wonderful landscape, jungle, and the scattered villages. Then, we trek for about an hour to reach. Overnight in Takshindo
Day 04: Trek to Khari khola (2194m) 7-8 hours
From the hill of Taksindo, we can enjoy the picturesque scenarios. We further trek to another ridge, where the views of Lukla, Nunthala valley astound us. After some descend through the alpine forest, we shall pass the village called Nunthala and continue to trek down. After 2 hours of ascend, we land in Kharikhola. Overnight in Khari khola
Day 05: Trek to Puiyan (2890m) 6 hours
Afer early morning breakfast, our trek to Puiyan begins. We will cross the forest of Pine and Rhododendron as we pass along the narrow path. About 6 hours of journey from khari Khola takes us to Puiyan. In the path, we will cross several small streams and encounter wild animals in the forest. Overnight in Puiyan
Day 06: Puiyan to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) 6 Hours
After a beautiful night in Phakding, we start to move upwards. About 3 hours of journey takes us to a small Sherpa settlement where we shall stop for the lunch. Then, we can continue to trek upwards to Phakding. Phakding is a famous stop for the trekkers to Everest Region. So it is often filled with enthusiastic people. Overnight in Phakding
Day 07: Trek to Namche (3440M), 5-6 hrs,
Our trek commences as we cross Dudh Koshi River. First, we reach Benkar village that has a magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (21,675ft). As we cross more bridges, we enter Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. We further pass through Jorsale village where we can enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalaya Peak as Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, and others. Overnight in Namche Bazaar
Day 08: Acclimatize day around Namche (3440M)
Today, we accommodate our body to the higher altitude of Namche. We might trek to a jagged ridge of Kongdi RI. Namche Bazaar is an attractive settlement in the Khumbu region. You have a full day to enjoy the beautiful view of panoramic views of mountain vistas. We can enjoy the splendid views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, Tawche, Kwangde, and so on. Day 09: Trek to Tengboche (3860M), 5-6 hrs,
First, it’s an easy trail to Phunki Thanga. From here, we ascend to Tengboche. Tengboche is home to the world’s largest monastery. If we could walk fast and reach the monastery by 3:00 in the afternoon, we get to witness a religious Buddhist ceremony. Overnight in Tengboche
Day 10: Trek to Dingboche (4460M), 5-6 hrs,
As we walk downhill, we pass through the lush forests that are filled with birch, Rhododendron, and conifers. We trek with views of Lhotse, Mt. Everest, and Ama Dablam. The picturesque trail drops down before we cross Imja River. Then, we trek to Pangboche for the view of Pangboche Monastery. After crossing the river, we shall ultimately climb up to Dingboche. Day 11: Acclimatize in Dingboche
Today, we accommodate our body to the higher altitude of Dingboche. Dingboche is an attractive settlement in the Khumbu region. You have a full day to enjoy the beautiful view of panoramic views of mountain vistas. We can enjoy the splendid views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku, Tawche, Kwangde and so on. Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4910M)- 5 to 6 hours
We start today’s after morning breakfast. Today, we need to climb is altitude of about 500m. So, we need to walk slow and keep ourself hydrated. After some descent and climb to the moraine on the far side, the path turns north through Khumbu Glacier and leads to Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche
Day 13: Trek to Gorakshep (5140M) via Everest Base Camp (5364M), 5-6 hrs,
Our trail leads along the lateral moraine where we can see the crest of the northern ridge of Everest. We can also witness the views of Pumori, Mahalangur, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and other mountains peaks. Then, we ascend to Thangma Riju and Changri Glacier. The further climb takes us to Gorak Shep, which is our stop for the night. After some rest, we continue to Everest Base Camp. As we pass through moraines, rocky dunes, and streams, we are surrounded by the mountains in all directions. After enjoying our time in Everest Base Camp, we shall trek back to Gorakshep. Day 14: Hike up to Kalapather (5550M) and trek to Pheriche (4400M), 7-8hrs,
Our trek to Kala Patthar commences early in the morning so that we can catch the remarkable views of the sun’s first ray on the Mt. Everest. However, trekking before dawn at such a cold temperature is not easy. But when we reach the viewpoint, we are blessed with the most fantastic views of Lingtren, Khumbutse, Everest, Nuptse, and Changtse. After enjoying the stunning Himalayan vista for some hours, we trace our way back to Pheriche. Overnight at Pheriche
Day 15: Trek to Namche (3440M), 5-6 hrs,
Today, we will descend for about 1000m. The descent follows a classic route used by the Tibetan traders for centuries. We further cross the Bhote Koshi River and few suspension bridges we stop for the lunch. Then we gradually descend through small villages before we reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar
Day 16: Trek to Lukla (2840M), 5-6 hrs,
We continue to descent as we cross multiple bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and its tributaries. Here, the trail gets more level and natural. As we enjoy walking on open plains, we pass through the rhododendron and pine forests. We walk past Sherpa villages that are filled with prayer stones and flags. After reaching Lukla, we will get time to stretch those sore legs and recall the awesome experiences of the last couple of weeks. Overnight in Lukla
Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu (1350M), 25 minutes.
The flights to Kathmandu are scheduled for the early morning. After such a thrilling flight, we land in the capital city. After some rest and lunch in the hotel, we can stroll around the region or shop souvenirs for our loved ones. In the evening, we enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful journey to the mountains. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 18: Departure
Our prodigious journey to the Everest region ends today. A representative from our company will drop you off at the airport as per your flight schedule.
